Guests say

The Barn in Pulborough receives glowing praise for its beautiful, peaceful setting and exceptionally well-equipped, cosy accommodation. Guests consistently highlight the immaculate cleanliness, thoughtful touches, and welcoming atmosphere, with special mentions for the hot tub, animal encounters, and dog-friendly features. The property is ideally located for exploring the South Downs and nearby attractions. While a few guests note the low ceilings in the bathroom and occasional difficulty with the shower, the overall experience is overwhelmingly positive, making it a highly recommended retreat for families, couples, and friends alike.

Multiple reviews describe the property as spotless, pristine, very clean, and well looked after. No negative comments regarding cleanliness were found, indicating a consistently high standard.

Guests praise the peaceful countryside setting, proximity to local attractions, and ease of access to towns and walking areas. A few mention initial difficulty finding the property, but clear instructions are provided by the hosts.

The Barn is described as cosy, homely, and comfortable, with well-heated rooms and quality beds. Some guests mention the bedrooms can get very warm and note the low ceilings in the bathroom, but these are minor compared to the overall comfort.

Facilities are highly praised, with guests noting the well-equipped kitchen, hot tub, enclosed garden, and amenities for children and dogs. The only recurring issue is the lack of a stand-up shower due to sloping ceilings, but this is clearly communicated in advance.

Guests frequently mention thoughtful touches such as fresh eggs, toiletries, seasonal decorations, and prompt host responses. While these gestures are appreciated, it should be noted that such gifts are not guaranteed for every stay.
