Take a stroll to the beautiful Lanhydrock Estate (just over 0.5 miles), an elegant 19th-century stately home with sumptuous interiors set in stunning gardens and surrounded by scenic parkland crisscrossed by walking and biking trails. If cycling is your thing, the Camel Trail cycle path can be joined 3 miles away. This 18-mile, virtually level route begins in Bodmin and follows the course of an old railway line along the River Camel to Padstow on the coast. 7.5 miles away, a visit to the Eden Project is a must. With its incredible 'biomes' housing living landscapes from around the world, it's easy to see why the Eden Project is Cornwall's most visited attraction. For a day out at the seaside, the golden sands of Par Sands Beach are 7.5 miles away, and the picturesque harbour town of Fowey lies 9.5 miles from your door.
