The cottage sits within a 50-acre estate with beautiful woodland walks and a lake with Canada geese, moorhens, and ducks. Head into the village (1.5 miles) to browse the local shops or grab a bite to eat in the friendly pub. Further afield, spend the day on the sandy beach in Looe or pottering around the narrow, cobbled streets in Polperro (both within 6 miles).
The stone cottage is bursting with original features, and has been decorated in a traditional style with antique furniture, floral fabrics, and homely accessories. After a busy day, relax in the inviting lounge and warm your toes by the open fire and watch a classic film on the Smart TV. Looe is a vibrant seaside town with a picturesque harbour and wide, sandy beach. The town boasts a fantastic selection of boutiques and galleries to peruse, along with cosy pubs and seafood restaurants. In summer, boats depart to the wildlife haven of Looe Island, where you can admire the resident grey seal colony. The unspoilt fishing village of Polperro is a must for the itinerary, with its charming fishermen’s cottages clinging to the hillside and its picture-postcard harbour.
