We really enjoyed our stay at Country View. It was a charming comfortable well equipped and spacious place to stay with a decent sized garden. The owner's communication was fantastic throughout The village is relaxed and friendly with some lovely walks. Local pub ( Star Inn) is literally a minutes walk away and serves a great Sunday roast! The kids were also pleased to find a play park within a five minutes walk from the property.St Erth's train station is a short car trip away too and well connected to the local area. Parking's a bit tight on street, but we didn't struggle during our stay. The shop over the road was very convenient too.No wifi at the cottage, but to be honest we didn't really care as it got the teenagers off their devices for the week, which is exactly what we wanted! The back garden is enclosed, but has a low wall and low hedgerow at the top end, so if you have a dog that's a bit of an escape artist like ours, id maybe think of taking something to keep them contained whilst outside. We took an extra long training lead and popped it on a spiral stake in the ground, and our pooch was then able to enjoy the garden just as much as we did. The cottage is really lovely. The price was great, the location was great for us as we love Hayle, St. Ives and surrounding areas and we would absolutely book again without hesitation. Thank you for a great stay@
