Gwinear, a small village in West Cornwall, is located two miles east of Hayle. The settlement is perched on a hill with sweeping views of the Angarrack valley and the village's northern end. Additionally, Herland Roots, a 3/4 acre market garden, offers weekly pickup or delivery of fresh, seasonal produce. Gwithian Towans Beach, a breathtaking stretch of Cornish sand that is a portion of the three miles of beach known as The Towans (Cornish for "dune"), is located less than five miles away.
