After a day of rambling, kick off your walking boots and relax in the open-plan living area, catching up on your favourite TV and thinking about the next adventure. Clear the dining table in preparation for a hearty feast, prepared in the amply-appointed kitchen. The Parbola Holiday Park makes a great base for families; during the summer months, guests are welcome to use the outdoor pool and dine at the pop-up food vans, whilst there is also a mini-golf course and play area that is open year round.

Wander out the park into the local village of Gwinear, home to the popular Royal Standard pub, serving a selection of ales, grub and its dog friendly too! Head to Gwithian Towans, a beautiful Cornish beach that forms part of three miles of beach named The Towans (Cornish for ‘dune’). Trevaskis Farm can be reached in a five minute drive, home to an award-winning farm shop, butchery and deli, while the farmland itself is open to the public for vegetable picking! If walking is on your agenda, join the South West Coast Path and amble along to St Ives, where you can explore the quayside and see beautiful art at the Tate Gallery and Barbara Hepworth Museum.

The tiny village of Gwinear is located in West Cornwall, two miles east of Hayle. The settlement is perched on a hill with sweeping views of the Angarrack valley and the village's northern end. The Royal Standard, a pub in the village that welcomes dogs and has a full cuisine and a variety of ales, also has a large beer garden. Additionally, Herland Roots, a 3/4 acre market garden, offers weekly pickup or delivery of fresh, seasonal produce. Gwithian Towans Beach, a breathtaking stretch of Cornish sand that is a portion of the three miles of beach known also As Towans (Cornish for "dune"), is located less than five miles away.
