Cwary Vean is in the charming village of Mullion on the beautiful Lizard Peninsula, making it an excellent base for exploring this stunning coastal region. At the bottom of the garden, a private gate leads directly to Polurrian Beach and the Southwest Coast Path. This sandy beach, with patches of shingle, is popular for both surfing and swimming. The area is home to some of Cornwall’s most spectacular beaches, including the world-renowned Kynance Cove, famous for its colourful serpentine rock formations and crystal-clear waters.

Nearby, Lizard Point—the most southerly tip of the UK mainland—is renowned for its dramatic scenery, white sandy beaches, and turquoise seas. Wildlife enthusiasts are often rewarded with sightings of seals and even basking sharks along the coastline.

Coastal walks around Mullion offer breathtaking views, excellent birdwatching opportunities, picturesque harbours, and fascinating historic sites such as the Marconi Centre, celebrating the birthplace of wireless communication.

If you enjoy golfing bring your clubs, Mullion Golf Club is the most southerly course in England and also one of the most beautiful, set high on the cliff tops of the Lizard Peninsula overlooking the sea.
