The cottage is just a short stroll from the village pub where you can enjoy a meal and a night cap. This three-bedroom property dates back 250 years and with exposed stone walls, beamed ceilings and a wood burning stove, the cottage retains much of its character. Bring along your friends and loved ones to this charismatic abode and step inside to discover the open-plan living space, with a contemporary kitchen area, which offers everything you need, including electric oven, hob, microwave, fridge/freezer, washing machine, tumble dryer and dishwasher. Savour mealtimes together at the dining table or on a summer evening why not carry the conversation outdoors onto the rear garden, with a glass of wine in hand. As night draws to a close, retire to the sitting area, where you can sink into the sofa with a tub of popcorn and choose between a selection of DVDs. South Helford's protected coves are great for playing on the water and wandering along the shore. Big open fireplace which is a huge feature and I can imagine amazing during the colder months. Upon entering you are hit with a damp smell which maybe to be expected with these old buildings full of history but is a little off putting. Beds are really comfy and lovely and warm. Perfectly working shower. As a family of 5. We felt the property could benefit from a larger sofa/corner sofa for added comfort. No parking outside property but no problem parking down the road. Nice views out back onto farmers field with cows. Property in a good location with some of our favourite places to visit only a 30 minutes away. Love the window seats and shutters but think view is obsecured by overgrown plants/shrubs.
