Mullion is a major village on the Lizard Peninsula, 5 miles south of Helston and 5 miles from Lizard Point. Helston is a beautiful, lively market town noted for its Flora Day Festival and "Furry Dance" folklore. Poldark Mine, one of the best subterranean experiences in the south west, informs about the area's mining legacy. Falmouth and Land's End are further away.
