Conveniently located between Padstow and Newquay, Watergate Bay has everything that you could need for an amazing beach experience. With a variety of extreme sports, including surfing, mountain boarding, kitesurfing, traction kiting and wave skiing are just some of the adrenaline fuelled activities available from The Extreme Sports Academy, located right on the beach.
Within minutes of leaving 9 The Whitehouse you can be in one of the best surfing spots in Cornwall, offering the most beautiful of North Cornwall’s seascapes. Some nearby sights include, The Eden Project near St Austell, and for natural wonders there are the Bedruthan Steps, Gurnards Head and Kynance Cove.

Great place and appartment is lovely. The hallway on our floor was very hot.In the handbook in the appartment it says for gate and main door code, enter 0 and then 1326, but email instructions only say enter code: 01326. So we did have trouble with code on first day. Otherwise, a perfect stay.

We stayed at no 9 for a week in September. Lovely clean, and comfortable apartment. Everywhere was spotless.Thankfully it was not as hot as this summer has been, you really do need fans in the lounge/bedroom. The blinds need repairing so they stay up, to let some breeze get in. Outside lights did not come on untill after dark. You will need a torch

This was our second stay at The White House. We really enjoyed the location of the property, right next to the beach! We mostly ate out and did a shop when we were near a local supermarket in Newquay. The flat itself is nicely decorated and has a great welcome pack. The beach is vast (once the tide is out) and has a great restaurant called The Beach Hut. The area is quiet with nightlife in Newquay which is a £20 fare away. I would definitely recommend this property, it’s a great base for exploring.
