This was a perfect base for our holiday walking a section of the South West Coast Path & various other outdoor activities. The cottage is well-equipped, extremely dog-friendly, and David, our host, was very helpful and accommodating.

Lovely cottage, very spacious and extremely well supplied with kitchen and bathroom amenities. We would have liked the sofas to have been higher up, as older people we found them difficult to stand up from after we'd settled in to the seats. But this didn't spoil our holiday, we had a lovely time.

We had a really enjoyable and comfortable stay at the Riverside Barn. Property has an excellent location, lovely walk to Crantock (tide depending) and Fistral Beach, then further into Newquay town. Everything was clean and tidy. Secure garden for my dog was a bonus. Owners were really friendly and helpful. I would highly recommend.
