You can, of course, stay close to home and explore Padstow. Wander the harbour, visit the beach and be sure to try one of the many renowned seafood restaurants throughout your stay.

Presented with calming tones of blue throughout, this is simply a wonderful space to prepare dishes, dine or sink into the L-shaped sofa and get stuck into a great film. Pass a ground-floor shower room as you venture out into the suntrap garden, a fantastic space with a lawn, outdoor heaters and all you need for a BBQ afternoon. Back inside, three bedrooms are each presented with their own unique style, each with a Smart TV. The bunk bedroom is a real stand-out, designed with children entirely in mind. Also on this floor is a bathroom that features a clawfoot bath with luxury rainfall shower over.

Set out to explore all seven of the magnificent beaches within 7 miles of this accommodation, your nearest being the fantastic St George’s Cove (1 mile). You can also embark on a passenger ferry over to Rock from Padstow’s harbour (300 metres), visiting the golden sand beach there (1.5 miles). For adventure-ready families, rent bikes and follow the incredible Camel Trail (1 mile) out into the countryside, reaching the local town of Bodmin (13 miles) in just a few hours.
