About this property
Nestled in a quaint, rural courtyard on the fringes of the chocolate-box town of Padstow, is this beautifully converted barn boasting a modernised, quality finish. Perfect for families and friends looking to explore a wonderful region of Cornwall, with the South West Coastal Path, Constantine Bay and Wadebridge close by, this well-presented cottage is just what you need in a healthy break away from everyday life. Stroll in through the private enclosed front garden and into a small hallway, where there is plenty of room for coats, hats and boots. The ground floor boasts a bright and airy interior, a wonderful setup for a family holiday, with a compact, fully-equipped kitchen area, plush seating for four guests and a dining table with chairs. From here you can step straight out onto the patio and enjoy alfresco dining amongst friends, with lovely furniture on which to sit and mull over plans for the day ahead. The two bedrooms on the first floor are thoughtfully designed with en-suite facilities for your comfort, choose from a king-size double with a bathroom or a twin setup with a shower room. Just a stone's throw away is the beautiful harbour in Padstow, meander gently into the town where you can delight in a lovely assortment of shops, pubs and eateries with local produce to sample in some of Cornwall's finest restaurants. With beautiful coastline, hidden coves, cycling, walking and first-rate surfing all within easy reach, this fabulous destination and quality base provide a well-earned holiday to remember!
Padstow is the ideal base for exploring the South West Coastal Path and Cornish countryside, a delightful fishing port, surrounded by sandy beaches, offering many opportunities to taste the locally sourced produce in celebrity owned establishments.There is something for everyone with watersports, walking, cycling and fishing, you can even take a trip on a local fisherman’s boat! Nearby, Constantine Bay is home to a golf course, while a passenger ferry across the river from Padstow to Rock takes you to the beach at Daymer Bay.
