Step inside to find three storeys of immaculate accommodation. Leave your sandy boots in the utility and walk into the spacious open-plan lounge/kitchen/diner/snug to begin lunch. Members of the group may want to challenge one another in the games room, playing pool, dancing to the music from the iPod dock, or watching a film on the Smart TV. Congregate around the table for a celebratory meal, or usher the group outside to sizzle sausages on the handy BBQ. Enjoy a drink whilst the food is cooking. When you’re full, rest in one of five welcoming bedrooms across three floors: a super-king-size with a TV and en-suite, two king-size rooms, a triple room, and a cosy twin. In the morning, treat yourself to a Nespresso coffee from the machine and settle on the front garden, where you can work out your itinerary for the day ahead.

While away days in this spellbinding part of the North Cornwall coast. Venture down to Trevone Beach, a popular stretch of shore for surfers and families, with a giant tidal pool for kids to splash around in. Refill the energy tanks with a visit to Padstow, 2 miles away and the foodie capital of the county. Made famous by Rick Stein, quality food, cafes, restaurants, and cosy tearooms are just a snapshot of the incredible eats on offer. Shoot under 90 at the Trevose Golf and Country Club (3 miles), while keen walkers may want to join the South West Coast Path for a pathway alive with flora and fauna, rugged coastal views and secret coves.
