Embark on a journey to discover the wonder of Saint Michael’s Mount, a stunning tidal island which can be reached via the causeway or a scenic boat ride, it boasts rich history and plenty of activity at any time of year. The colourful streets of Penzance are lined with fascinating shops worth browsing, plus a fine selection of eateries serving a range of cuisines. Penzance mainline train station is a short stroll away providing access to many of Cornwall's wonderful attractions. Be sure to stop off at the Tourist Information Centre on your way. Visit the Isles of Scilly by either the Scillonian Ferry or Heliport for a day out with a difference, or explore the beauty of Lands’ End for picturesque scenery like no other. Why not head down to the stunning harbour to watch the boats bob with the tide whilst tucking into some traditional fish and chips? Avid walkers can explore along the breath-taking South West Coast Path where you will always be on the edge of an amazing experience. Gulval is a village and parish close to the sea near Penzance and the Land's End Peninsula, with a beautiful parish church and a history dating back to before the Normans. Other features in the village include the 1910 granite drinking fountain in the centre of the square and the Coldstreamer Inn, allegedly one of the oldest.
