Porth Nanven Barn is a well-received holiday cottage in Penzance, praised for its peaceful location, comfort, and suitability for dog owners. Guests appreciate the cosy wood burner, the garden, and the proximity to local amenities and coastal walks. While some minor maintenance issues are noted, the overall sentiment is positive, with many guests planning return visits.

The property is consistently described as clean and well-presented, with no negative comments on cleanliness, indicating high standards are maintained.

The location is highly praised for its tranquillity, easy access to walks, and proximity to St Just and beaches, making it an ideal base for exploring Cornwall.

The barn is frequently described as comfortable and cosy, particularly highlighting the wood burner and snug lounge. However, some guests mention difficulties with bathroom facilities for the elderly, slightly impacting the comfort score.

Perfect in every way, peaceful, characterful, warm, cosy and comfortable. A great location in a traditional Cornish village that still has its charm and only a few minutes walk from the coast path which my dog loved. Would highly recommend.

This was our second Christmas stay at Porth Nanven Barn and we are definite fans. The house is pleasantly unpretentious and 'unprecious' and we like that. It has everything we needed and the shops are just a ten-minute walk away in St Just. The walks down the Cot Valley or out through Bosorne to Carn Gloose or over to Cape Cornwall are always a delight, even if the weather closes in. (Tip: treat yourself to the walk over the top, via Letcha Farm, to Nanjulian.) The owners live next door, but are both there and invisible. St Just isn't everyone's cup of tea, but I like its grit and you need grit to make a pearl.
