St Buryan is a charming rural village located just 6½ miles from Penzance and less than 5 miles from Land’s End, the most westerly point of mainland Britain. Surrounded by rugged countryside, it is real Poldark country, popular with cylclists, nature lovers and walkers.
The village itself is centred around a magnificent 14th-century church, one of many historic landmarks, traditional granite cottages line the village streets, creating a picturesque and welcoming atmosphere. St Buryan also offers a village shop and a friendly pub serving locally sourced produce.
The surrounding coastline is renowned for its spectacular beaches and dramatic scenery. Choose from the wide golden sands of Sennen Cove, the secluded beauty of Penberth Cove, or the stunning beach at Porthcurno. Walking enthusiasts will be spoilt for choice, with breathtaking coastal paths leading to hidden gems such as Porth Chapel Beach, accessible only on foot.
No visit to the area is complete without exploring the world-famous Minack Theatre, perched high above the Atlantic Ocean.
