Just 0.5 miles away is the National Trust’s Penrose, a beautiful area comprising of a lake, woodland and coast, with lots of walking and cycling routes to enjoy. Enter this superb home through a spacious hallway before heading into the open-plan kitchen/diner, where there’s a charming farmhouse-style dining table seating six. The dining area doubles up as a living space with comfortable chairs and a TV as well as a sideboard full of games, toys, and jigsaws available for guests to use. The main living room is bright and airy, with large sofas and a wood burner. Spend an evening warming up while watching your favourite shows on the TV. A downstairs cloakroom with WC completes the ground floor. Heading upstairs, you will find the three bedrooms. The master has a king-sized bed and an en-suite shower room with WC. The second bedroom has a double bed and a lovely bay window with seating, perfect for watching the boats come and go from the harbour below. Bedroom three is a spacious and airy twin room, as well as a separate family bathroom.
Outside to the rear of the home is a lovely, enclosed garden. There is a large lawn, great for a kickabout, and a patio area with a brick-built BBQ and plenty of seating. A handy outdoor shower area is provided, great for cleaning off sandy feet or rinsing down the dogs. Guests will also have access to storage for bikes, surfboards, or paddleboards.
