Rose in Vale Cottage is a beautiful holiday home which effortlessly blends its unique cottage charm with a modern style throughout. Situated in the peaceful wooded hamlet of Mithian; this stunning area is home to a cosy traditional pub and a fine dining hotel restaurant.
With flagstone floors and exposed stone walls, Rose in Vale Cottage is full of character. The kitchen comes well-equipped with modern amenities and even boasts underfloor heating. In the evenings gather round the dining table and tuck into home-cooked delights while keeping warm next to the inglenook fireplace with a wood burning stove. After long days exploring Cornwall, come back and get cosy in the snug; this comfortable sofa pulls out to a double bed. The cottage is not short of contemporary features, it has a stunning, architect designed extension which provides a study space as well as an additional sitting room with a second wood burning stove to compliment the already impressive accommodation. There is also a Smart television in here, perfect for enjoying a family film night. The ground floor also has a useful utility room and cloakroom.
There are three bedrooms located on the first floor; two king-size rooms and one cosy twin room. The master room is serviced by an en-suite shower room while the further rooms make use of the family bathroom with a shower over bath, wash basin and WC.
Outside are the beautiful, mature and well stocked gardens which remain in keeping with the local surroundings in Mithian. There is also a patio area with a barbecue for summer al fresco meals, along with a summer house at the top of the garden with table tennis table.

The cottage is beautifully designed, clean and comfortable. The modern extension sinks the building into the hillside, and brings the outside in. You really feel like you're bathing in the forest. The beds and linen are comfortable and clean, the kitchen is very well equipped and there is a sunny patio for relaxing outside. We loved our stay on a swimming and walking break with friends. Itâs within easy reach of lots of sandy beaches, and beautiful coastal walks.

This is a beautiful cottage, highly recommended. The interior has been renovated to a high standard which made for what felt like a luxury stay. Literally can't fault it - lovely and clean, comfy bed, well equipped and fresh eggs from the local small-holding in the village. In a lovely, pretty village with plenty of walks nearby as well as plenty of stunning beaches. And just a 2 min walk from the local pub. We will be back!
