Upstairs, you will find a stylish bathroom and three relaxing bedrooms, all with low sloping ceilings: there’s a cheery twin room and two pretty king-size rooms both with rural views, one with a TV. Outside, the large enclosed garden has a big lawn and a picnic bench, an ideal spot for spending a lazy summer’s afternoon in the sun.

St Merryn is a fabulous base for exploring the glorious Seven Bays, all within 2.5 miles. The cheerful harbour town of Padstow is to the east (3 miles) with a fabulous variety of pubs and seafood restaurants. To the west are the beautiful beach at Mawgan Porth (6 miles) and the popular seaside resort of Newquay (11 miles). Local attractions include Prideaux Place, the National Lobster Hatchery and Trevose Golf and Country Club, all within 3.5 miles.
