Exmoor National Park is a couple of miles away offering a mixture of wild moorland with lush, deep, wooded valleys and pretty villages to enjoy on foot, car, bike, or horse riding stables can be found locally. Wimbleball Lake offers water sports, fishing, bird watching and nature trails and is also just a few miles away. The towns of Dulverton and Tiverton are close by and offer a range of amenities. If you fancy a day on the beach, explore the North Devon coastline with its small coves and sandy beaches, or Minehead on the Somerset coast.
