Perfect stay for our family and the dog. The hosts were very welcoming and the platter of homemade made scones, cream and jam did not disappoint. The welcome tray of goodies even surpassed our 12 year oldâs expectation. A great location for exploring North Devon. Would definitely book again.

On arrival the owner greeted us and made us feel so at home after a long drive. The cottage it's self was very clean and tidy, it was also alot bigger than expected. There was wood for the fire if you wanted to use it, if not the central heated worked perfectly and made the property very cosy. The garden was brilliant for our dog and so big for him to run around but completely secure so we didn't have to worry when we let him out. The location is great and only a 10min trip to the centre of Barnstable, there are multiple shops a few minutes away. I love that the property is in the countryside and so very peaceful. The property is supplied with everything you need and there are even children books stored in the cupboard, this was great for us as we had forgotten our toddlers bedtime books. The owner obviously takes great pride in the property and keeps is so well maintained. I would really recommend this property and we will be staying again.
