Located on the Coulscott Estate, set just outside the village of Combe Martin, within the Exmoor National Park, Bantam Cottage is perfect for romantic breaks or young families seeking peace, comfort and luxury in a rural setting, yet close to the sea. This gorgeous cottage offers elegant calming interiors, a warm atmosphere, and thoughtful details throughout. 

Bantam Cottage is dog-friendly, so your four-legged friend is very welcome, and there’s EV charging on site too.

Beautifully decorated Master bedroom with 5 ft king size wrought iron bed

Marble-lined wet room with walk-in shower and counter-top marble basin 

 

Outside 

Private bistro table and chairs just outside the cottage for exclusive guest use, in the peaceful shared courtyard 

Short stroll to the shared indoor swimming pool building 

Guests have full access to Coulscott’s 20 acres of grounds — with meadows and streams, woodland trails, over 50 friendly animals, and safe places for children to roam and play. There’s even a 5 acre dog walking meadow at the end of a beautiful grass path, for off lead enjoyment. 

Within the grounds is the heated indoor swimming pool with changing rooms, WC and showers, large wooden outdoor children’s play area, games room with table football and table tennis, dedicated under 5’s soft play area. honesty shop, plus a giant fire pit area for all guests to enjoy. 

Additional guest laundry with washing machine and tumble dryer on site.

Designated parking area close to cottage.  

 

EV charging is possible within the Coulscott estate, via multiple 22khw fast charging units. 

  

Included: Bed linen and towels (guests must provide their own beach/dog towels) electricity, underfloor heating, Wifi. A high chair is available on request.  

Internet and telephone: Wi-Fi. There is a landline telephone available for incoming calls only and mobile reception is dependent upon your provider. Please check with your provider prior to booking.  

Pets: One well behaved dog welcome.Pet charge £50 per dog per week.
