Secluded Combesgate Beach, which is popular for paddling and picnicking, is 0.5 miles away, while Barricane Beach, known for the tiny shells that wash up here, is a little further on. Woolacombe, with its 3-mile-long golden sands that are adored by swimmers and surfers alike, is 1 mile from the apartment. Keen cyclists might like to hop on the saddle and follow a section of the picturesque Tarka Trail, which begins in Braunton, 7.5 miles away.

Return from afternoons on the beach and evenings watching the sun set over the sea to let yourselves back into the main building via the shared front door. Step in through your own door and climb the stairs up to your inviting split-level holiday accommodation. The double-aspect lounge, with its cosy dark walls and seating, is the perfect place to gather over a restorative cup of tea or glass of wine to catch up on your day. Light the wood burner and settle down to a good film on the Smart TV in here or simply gaze out of the window and enjoy the sea views. When it is time to start preparing the tasty local produce you have bought, amble through to the farmhouse-style kitchen/diner where you will find everything you need to assist you. A bench seat in the kitchen window, a perfect spot to drink your morning coffee while gazing into the views. Choose whether to eat here or through in the dining room, where you can open the French doors onto the balcony and bring in the salty sea air. Climb the stairs to the upper level of the apartment to find your bedrooms, including two king-sizes, a double and a twin, two of which have sea views. The family bathroom is also here. There is also a useful separate WC on a half landing on the stairs to the upper level.
