Access to the front of the property leading directly onto the Esplanade is down some steps on the side of Chichester House, these steps are fairly steep and require a reasonable amount of mobility however, many people manage carrying surf equipment etc down on a daily basis. A walk over the Esplanade puts you onto the short path down onto Barricane beach, and less than half a mile walk from the main beach you can find Woolacombe village, where food and refreshments are readily available to suit your taste.
