2 Bow is a wonderful characterful cottage situated in a peaceful position, nestled at the top of an inlet of South Devon’s picturesque River Dart.

This delightful cottage is ideally placed for exploring everything the South Hams has to offer, with countryside walks and some of the area’s best pubs just a short walk from the doorstep. Tastefully and thoughtfully presented, showcasing characterful features alongside contemporary finishes and furnishings, guests will find much to like about this charming cottage. With a spacious modern kitchen/diner guests can enjoy home cooking in comfort, with the option to eat alfresco in warmer months in the patio garden. In cooler months, cosy up in the sitting room in front of the wood burning stove with your favourite movie or series on the smart TV.

Bookable alongside 3 Bow (sleeping max 6) and Bow Bridge House (sleeping max 12) or all three together, sleeping a maximum of 14.

Sitting room with one 3-seater sofa, two armchairs, wood burning stove, smart TV and open accessway leading to the kitchen/diner.

Kitchen/diner with built-in electric oven and hob, slimline dishwasher, fridge/freezer, washing machine, microwave, toaster, kettle and table and chairs to seat 4.

Stairs to first floor.

First floor

Bedroom 1 with 6ft super king bed, built-in wardrobe, chest of drawers, small chair and door leading to ensuite shower room with walk-in shower, WC and basin.

Bedroom 2 with twin 3ft beds, hanging rail, small chest of drawers and door leading to ensuite bathroom with bath and shower over, WC and basin.

 

Outside

Paved patio area with comfy seating for 4 and an additional table and chairs to seat 4.

Allocated parking for up to 2 vehicles.

Included: Bed linen and towels (guests must provide their own beach/dog towels), central heating.

Internet and Telephone: Wi-Fi. There is no landline telephone available and mobile reception is generally fair/poor (please check with your provider prior to booking) but it is recommended Wi-Fi calling is activated to help overcome this.

Pets: One well behaved dog (including service dogs) welcome. Pet charge £30 per week.

Electric vehicles: Please note that this property does not have suitable facilities for charging electric vehicles.

Short Breaks: Short breaks are available in the low and mid season.

Village shop and fuel station with Premier shop at Harbertonford (2.5 miles).  Supermarkets and wide range of facilities at Totnes (3 miles) and at Dartmouth (8 miles). Boat and kayak hire in Dittisham, as well as Anchorstone Cafe (3.5 miles). Beaches at Blackpool Sands (9 miles) and Broadsands (11 miles).
