As you approach the barn, you'll be greeted by a serene setting with rolling green hills and stunning views of the surrounding countryside.

Harvest Barns’ reverse level living area boasts a tastefully decorated lounge with a log burner and vaulted ceilings where you can unwind on comfortable sofas after a day of exploring the area. The large window floods the room with natural light, creating a bright and airy space to relax and enjoy the company of your loved ones. The kitchen features modern appliances, and the dining area offers a cozy spot to enjoy your culinary creations. On the ground floor the two bedrooms provide a restful hideaway at the end of the day.

Outside you'll find two private decked areas, the larger lower deck has a Mediterranean feel and overlooks the communal gardens and fields beyond equipped with outdoor furniture, and a large chimnea where guests can use their own portable barbecue while basking in the sunshine.

South Allington offers a fantastic base for exploring the South Hams region of Devon. From sandy beaches at Lannacombe and East Portlemouth, picturesque coastal walks on the South West Coast Path and historical landmarks, there is something for everyone to enjoy, all within driving distances to Dartmouth, Kingsbridge and Salcombe.

Accommodation:

Front door leads into entrance way with shoe rack and coat hooks.

Bedroom 2 with Bunk with 4’6’’ double on the lower and 3’ on the top, small wardrobe.

3 steps up:

Bathroom with Bath with rainfall shower over, WC and sink, heated towel rail

Bedroom 1 with 4’6’’ double bed, inbuilt wardrobe, door to decking and communal garden.

Cupboard housing water tank and washer/dryer.

Stairs to first floor:

Lounge with log burner, L shape sofa, sofa bed (available by request), armchair and pouffe, Smart TV, BT free view.

3 steps down to

Kitchen/diner with table and seating for 4, electric oven and hob, dishwasher, microwave, kettle and toaster, fridge freezer.

 

Outside:

Steps up to lower decked area, rattan sofa and 2 chairs with drinks table, chimnea (please bring your own small or single use barbecues for use in this).

Higher decked area - accessed from bridleway around the outside of the barns, 2 chairs and a bistro table.

Communal lawn - stream at the bottom-please supervise children and pets.

Parking:

For 2 cars in car park.

  • Included: Bed linen and towels (guests must provide their own beach/dog towels), electric heating. Travel Cot-please advise at time of booking if this is required.

  • Internet and Telephone: Wi-Fi. There is no landline telephone available and mobile reception is dependent upon your provider. Please check with your provider prior to booking. 

  • Pets: 2 Well behaved dogs welcome. Pet charge £30 per pet per week.

  • Electric Vehicles: Please note this property does not have suitable facilities for charging electric vehicles.

  • Short Breaks: Available in low and mid season, and high season two weeks before. 

  • Local facilities: Beach at Lannacombe 2 miles. Further sandy beaches East Portlemouth. Shop at Chillington and East Prawle (Seasonal) 3 miles, Beesands 2.5 miles. More pubs at South Pool and East Prawle 2 miles. Frogmore coffee shop 3 miles. Ashby's Easy Stores garage and well stocked shop; 5 miles. Stokenham Farm shop 4 miles.  Kingsbridge with all facilities; 8 miles. Dartmouth; 10 miles.
