The more adventurous will love the stunning cliff walks with spectacular sea views, admiring the hustle of bustling Salcombe harbour or visiting a range of independent shops and boutiques. The gorgeous Gara Rock Resort is less than a mile away, serving delicious food in a breath-taking location and situated right on the South West Coast Path, making The Malthouse a great base for walkers and runners. There is also tidal access to the estuary half a mile away for those wanting to access the water. The market town of Kingsbridge is a thirty minute drive away and Dartmouth around forty minutes; both have many amenities, shops, cafes and restaurants to enjoy.
