While some maintenance issues are noted, the overall experience is highly regarded, with many guests expressing a desire to return.

The property is described as comfortable, with ample space, modern decor, and high-quality fittings. Some reviews mention issues with steps and accessibility for those with mobility problems, which slightly affects the comfort score.

Facilities are generally well-received, with positive remarks on the games room, garden, and kitchen. However, there are several mentions of maintenance issues, such as broken blinds, loose cobbles, and the need for a BBQ, which impacts the score.

The house is lovely and we all thoroughly enjoyed our stay. The kids loved the secret den and spent lots of time adding to it and playing down there. Just a few comments that didn’t impact our stay really but might be quick fixes/food for thought: * The blind was broken in the kids room. It went down but wouldn’t come back up. * Also in the kids room the safety catch was broken on the left window. * The chest of draws in the downstairs bedroom weren’t easy to open. * The corner cupboard in kitchen near the dishwasher was broken. * The bath drains in some of the bathrooms (including the annexe) were very slow to drain away. * In the annexe, the handle on the left velux overlooking the main house was broken. * In the annexe, the bathroom door off the main bedroom didn’t shut - the latch was stuck out. * A broom/vacuum, ironing board and iron in the annexe would have been useful. * A couple more clothes drying racks would be useful. * We knew there wasn’t a bbq at the property prior to arrival but would’ve been great to have one. * A dart board in the games room would be great! That being said we did really have a lovely week! :)

My grandchildren had a great time playing sports outside and in the games room. We would all love to come back in the future.

Some things could do with a little updating, sofa was uncomfortable, some of the pillows on the beds were well worn, some of the mattress protectors were stained. Personal taste, would like sunloungers, we had perfect weather when we stayed and spent alot of time outside, children with us,maybe a hot tub ?
