I was very taken back by the view from this appartment. The location was ideal for walking and the space was very comfortable and cosy. Happy they left extra blankets as well, which is needed in the winter. Sadly the local shop was closed most the time and not very well stocked (no veg, break or sauces) so have to travel some distance for any food shopping, which has nothing to do with the apartment, so do come stocked if you prefer to eat in. Local restaurants are very good and open for breakfast right through.

The location was very quiet and only a 510 min walk to the beach. A bottle of wine was left on the side (we asume from the owner, though without a note it could just as easily have been from previous guests). There were some popular games to play & a big collection of DVD's. The property itself feels tired and in need of updating. One window wouldnt open at all, and another wouldnt open vertically, only horizontally frustrating when the flat became uncomfortably hot. The leather settee has more cracks than a dried riverbed, and the recliner worked but wouldnt go back down and click into place. The dining table, when extended, was warped and bounced with the slightest presure. The washer turned out to be a washer/dryer, which wasnt obvious at firstresulting in some clothes shrinking. Wash cycles also dragged on for around 3 hours. There were visible signs of damp in multiple rooms. As a base, it served its purpose. Would we stay again? Never say never, but probably not.
