The location is pretty spot on too, set on the clifftop with the beach in reach, it’s got to be one of the best spots in South Devon for a seaside escape. Hope Cove is the perfect spot for sandcastles with the kids, wild swimming, kayaking and stand up paddleboarding, combine that with some of the best seafood shacks, pubs and restaurants all just a just a short walk away.

Sleeping up to 4 guests, the property has 2 stylish bedrooms offering plenty of space for family and friends to escape, entertain and have fun.
Enter the property via exterior stairs which lead up to the entrance to Carswell Quarters. The bright and spacious hallway leads to the bedrooms, family bathroom and open plan living space. Wide glass doors open onto the balcony seamlessly bringing the outside in, a beautiful spot to relax and watch the comings and goings on the water whatever the season.
From the front door and down the hall there are two bedrooms; a smart kingsize with chunky wooden bed and industrial style shelf bedsides, with lovely countryside and village views. The master bedroom is relaxed and comfortable with smart grey panelling behind the bedhead and coastal views through the floor to ceiling window. The luxurious en suite shower room has a large brass rain head shower and a Vogue heated towel rail. The style continues into the spacious family bathroom which is beautiful with an encaustic style floor and a bath for relaxing, there’s a shower over the bath complete with black framed glass screen and a brass rain head shower.
The sociable open plan living area is the hub of this outstanding holiday home. The contemporary L-shaped kitchen area is well stocked with Neff appliances, Nespresso coffee machine and DeLonghi kettle and toaster. You’ll find everything you could possibly need to cook up your favourite dishes and the large breakfast bar is perfect for chatting over a glass of wine. There’s a large dining table with benches, sofa and easy chairs for relaxing. Step outside and the elevated aspect offers the most amazing sea view from the wide balcony.

Carswell Quarters is the reduced occupancy version of Carswell Cove which doesn't include use of the bunk room or trundle bed. We thoroughly enjoyed our stay at Carswell Quarters. The views are stunning from the balcony and the access to the coastal path was perfect for walking our little pooch Willow. The property is perfectly located for a quiet family holiday as it is so close to Hope Cove's lovely beaches. The property was comfortable, clean and very well laid out. The beds are comfortable with lovely bedding. Our dog was very settled at the property as despite it being an apartment we were not disturbed by noise from neighbours. We thoroughly recommend Carswell Quarters and would be happy to stay again, especially as staying for one week was not enough.

We loved our stay at Carswell Quarters…beautifully modern inside with everything you need. The fan provided was very welcoming as it was so hot! Loved the balcony too to sit outside with a sea view and easy access straight onto the sw coastal footpath and yet just a walk down the hill to the eateries and beaches. Thank you and highly recommended place to stay being so quiet which we loved,. 5 stars from us including the dog!
