About this property

Upalong is a perfectly positioned cosy cottage, just a two minute walk from the two golden sandy beaches of Hope Cove, and the scenic South West Coast Path. Tucked ‘Up and Along’ the main road into Hope Cove, the cottage offers an ideal base for a summer seaside holiday, or a winter walking break. Leading from the pretty garden with sea views, the entrance opens up to an inviting lounge/diner and modern kitchen. Downstairs there are two bedrooms, with king size bed, and triple room.

Hope Cove is a traditional and quaint seaside village, located in the picturesque South Hams. The village has a small shop and several restaurants/pubs to choose from, but if you are heading further afield, the towns of Salcombe, Kingsbridge and Dartmouth present independent and boutique shops, great eateries and lots of water based activities to enjoy.

Please note the path to access Upalong is narrow and a small incline. 

Accommodation:

Front door into Lounge with corner sofa, 2 additional chairs and Smart TV.

Kitchen area with fridge/freezer, dishwasher, induction hob, electric oven, microwave, kettle, toaster and Magimix Coffee pod machine.  

Dining area with table to seat 4.

Bathroom with bath and shower over, sink, separate WC and small washing machine.

Steep and narrow open tread steps down to Ground floor bedroom 1 with 5ft king size bed and fitted wardrobes. Please note access is tricky on one side of the bed. 

Access to Bedroom 2 via Bedroom 1.

Bedroom 2 with 3ft bunk beds and 3ft single bed, chest of drawers.   

Outside:

Pretty garden with sea views, table to seat 6, sun loungers and summer house. 

Parking:

No private parking, but on road parking can be found within 100m.

Additional:

Included: Bed linen and towels (guests must provide their own beach/dog towels), heating by electric heaters.

Internet and Telephone: Wi-Fi. There is no landline telephone available and mobile reception is dependent upon your provider. Please check with your provider prior to booking. 

Pets: 1 dog welcome. 

Electric Vehicles: Please note this property does not have suitable facilities for charging electric vehicles.

Short Breaks: Short breaks available in the low and mid-season, outside of school holidays.
