Buckfastleigh is an excellent location to be able to get out exploring. The house is in the town centre so 2 mins walk to co-op and chip shop/pubs. Allocated parking space and the fully enclosed garden for my dog are for me the main plus features of this house. The only negative I have is the oddness of there being a huge mirror above the bed, where you cant actually use it, and none on the wall at the actual height needed to use it for getting ready/drying hair etc.

Very clean, Well stocked with utensils. Bed very comfy, living room very inviting. The house is in a very nice group of houses, very quiet, dedicated parking place near to the house, in the middle of the lovely historic village chip shop within 100 yards really nice fish and chips. Also had a really nice Chinese from take away within the village about 300 yards away. Within walking distance of Buckfast Abbey, our main reason for stay. Also close to Torquay, Paignton, Brixham all about 15 miles away and Totnes 6 miles away. A must is to travel to Totnes on steam train station just outside village we took 10:30am to Totnes returning at 15:30 and no need for car park search at Totnes. Great days out

A comfortable home from home in the centre of a lovely bustling village. The property was like a home from home. Very comfortable and cosy. The dog treats and accesories cupboard was a lovely touch. It was a shame that there was no hand soap in either the bathroom or kitchen. The welcome information folder was also a little out of date, with some information incorrect, or obviously no longer offered by the hosts.
