Nice cottage in a great location

We had a nice holiday but we were not aware of the low door frames. To get to the main upstairs bathroom we all had to fold ourselves in half to get through the door from the stairs to it. Bed downstairs was not suitable for sleeping, mattress was far too thin. This meant my husband and I had to scale the extremely precarious second floor stairs and sleep in single beds. Our son has mobility issues and I was so concerned he would fall down the stairs in the night if going toilet. So a great location, but the house was overall very unsuitable for us

Would have liked a welcome pack on arrival (I.e. tea/coffee to make a drink after a long journey). Tumble drier too high to empty without standing on something.Otherwise no problems. The car parking space was invaluable. We would use Brook Cottage again.
