The beautiful apartment is right on the waterfront in the fishing village of Appledore. You’ll have easy access to spectacular coastal and countryside walks, and within the village you’ll find a great selection of cute cafes and cosy pubs. The golden sands of Westward Ho! can be found just 2.5 miles away. The apartment looks out over the estuary and has a southerly aspect, treating you to some fine sunsets. Sleeping four guests, the property is perfect for small families and couples, and its open-plan layout is ideal for spending quality time together.

The first-floor apartment is light and bright, with traditional windows framing views over the estuary. The lounge area has plump sofas to curl up on, watching the Smart TV or diving into your favourite book. Gather at the dining table for hearty breakfasts before a day of adventure or enjoy evenings of great food and wine in the sociable space. The apartment has two bedrooms: a super-king-size that can be made up into a twin on request, and one king-size. Both bedrooms have en-suite facilities. There is no outdoor space, but there are public benches in front of the property, where you can sit to watch the sun go down.

Wander out your apartment and into the bustling village of Appledore. Meander along its cobbled streets, admiring the colourful fishermen’s cottages, before popping into one of the cute cafes for a coffee and a slice of homemade cake. There are some fantastic walks that branch away from the village, including along the South West Coast Path to the seaside resort of Westward Ho! This is a great place to try a multitude of water sports and, with 2 miles of golden sand, it’s easy to find your own little sunbathing spot, even in the height of summer.
