Barnhayes is a lovely cottage. Everything you could possibly need, for a very comfortable stay. The owners are so lovely and couldn't have helped us anymore, as we had some major car trouble while there. There are some lovely dog walks from the door. I would recommend a walk at Hartland Quay along the cliffs, so beautiful.

Lovely house the set up with 2 lounge's worked really well for our party as we had two dog's it was nice to sit in the kitchen/diner with them and have a decent sofa and TV to watch after a busy day out and still be sociable with everyone whilst we cooked.Shame the weather didn't allow us to use the garden room as this was a great addition to the property and I'm sure in good weather would have been lovely to sit outside in the evening. The village was great loved the pub's had a great "Sea Shanty" sing along in the Anchor Inn with Very nice and reasonably priced meal A very good dog walk at the end of the village with lovely river and tree's to let them roam around for miles but beware if rained it's very muddy.A very enjoyable stay and well equipped house would recommend to people wanting to get away to a lovely countryside escape we would stay again definitely Only slight criticism and airier would be useful to hang up wet dog towels we used the ironing board against the radiator and maybe salt pepper and some oil in the kitchen to get you started and washing up liquid as not always wanting to use dishwasher but very minor observation not complaining,we like a big bed too so maybe a king-size in the ensuite room would be nice as there's plenty of room or the other double bedroom could also accommodate a king-size bed again Just a suggestion not a complaint
