The cottage itself is situated in quite a remote area on a working farm however the accommodation is exceptional and we have no complaints. Beds were really comfy. It was also nice to listen to the cockerel for the alarm each morning and the access to the farm animals was great for the kids.If I was being really picky I’d suggest that the shower in the en-suite was impractical due to the small size of it but that is my only fault. The owners were really lovely and aided us with turning the hot tub temperature down when we asked, they also provided a really nice afternoon tea package which was really appreciated after our long journey. The location is stunning with walks aplenty along the coastline and the games room was a real gem to unwind in after a day out.There are a number of local pubs in Hartland which were really welcoming including the Hart Inn and the Anchor Inn who both served really good homemade food. Just be careful on the local roads as with a lot of this area, they are very narrow and probably only meant for farm access so you won’t tend to get out of 2nd gear when driving!

It's out in the sticks (which I loved). No Internet, just a 4g wifi system which worked quite well.The kitchen had everything we needed. Some nice touches with added welcome extras. Lovely bath! Good showers. Lots of space.The twin bedded room could use new beds, 1 bed squeaks and the other too soft, but perfect for kids.I'd definitely return!
