Lovely lodge in quiet countryside full birdsong . Ideal if you don’t mind driving to places of interest and shops. Even during a heatwave we stayed cool on the verandah or moved indoors to take advantage of the fan. The rooms were nicely furnished and comfy bed. The kitchen is well equipped and I would’ve awarded 5 stars if the oven and pizza pans had been clean. Also, a small mat in the bedroom was full of dog hair from previous occupant. Otherwise, a great place to stay if you like peaceful surroundings and a little distance from neighbours. The dog loved it too! Welcome treats were a nice touch.

Had a wonderful welcome pack from Andrea on arrival. The location is so peaceful it was a week of relaxation. Downloaded the merlin bird app so we could identify all the bird that are sining around the site, tried fishing at the lakes for the 1st time and had a plesant few hrs there. Everything you need is within 30min drive, 2 lovley meals at the hoops inn hotel (dog friendly) Many thanks to AndreaCheers the Lindley's

Nice quiet place whilst we stayed (May). The cabin was nice and comfortable and very dog friendly , and well equiped. Found the bed very comfortable and the welcome pack was a nice touch. Would happily stay again.
