Please note: There are 2 steps in the garden.. Rural location. Relax and unwind amidst glorious countryside at these delightful lodges (refs W43106, W43107, W43108, W43109 and W43362). All these delightful holiday properties stand detached within their own gardens and four of them offer single-storey accommodation (all except ref W43108). This is the ideal country retreat, but is just a short drive to the breathtaking north Devon and north Cornish coasts, with many stunning, dog-friendly beaches.
The pretty village of Bradworthy is approximately 1 mile and has a pub, church, post office, butchers, general stores and a fish and chip shop. This is a superb location with something for everyone. Fishing, sailing, surfing, horse riding and mountain boarding are available locally, whilst the coastal resort of Bude, 9 miles, has fine sandy beaches and excellent surfing, as well as an 18-hole golf course, restaurants, gift shops and galleries. The Tamar Lakes are within a short drive, offering a variety of activities including walking, fishing, sailing, kayaking and windsurfing. Picturesque Clovelly, with its cobbled streets and donkey transport, is close by or for a day out, the famous Eden Project is within easy reach, as are many other family attractions including The Big Sheep and The Milky Way Adventure Park. Beach 9 miles. Shop, pub and restaurant 1 mile.

The Hollies was a lovely getaway, quiet and peaceful. The garden was great for our dog to have a run around; there is also a field close by on the estate that is signed (its not incredibly clear as just a laminated sign) as a dog off lead area which she enjoyed. We found the property to be clean on arrival and had almost everything we needed. The addition of an internal doormat to soak up wet footprints, a mop/bucket to use and a toilet brush would have given us everything we needed. No Wi-Fi but a good phone signal so we were able to use that for internet (but something people may wish to be aware of). More local info would be helpful in the information folder (days out, takeaways etc) but Google helped! Tamar Lakes were a close by place to visit. Recommend Little Pig Farm Shop (Kilkhampton) for breakfast/lunch and Wayside Takeaway for a Chinese takeaway.

Nice bungalow with a good size private garden area, peaceful location, easy to check in/out. Lots of things to do in the area with kids, although you do need a car. No wifi which we quite liked but could be tricky for others.

Had a truly lovely stay at the hollies, well equipped well located lovely and peaceful gave us the opportunity to recharge and reset which was very much needed would definitely book again and have already recommended to friends x
