Guests say

Keel Annexe is a charming property praised for its comfort, cleanliness, and welcoming hosts. Guests appreciate the secure garden for pets, the proximity to local beaches, and the thoughtful welcome pack. Some suggestions for improvement include additional dining furniture, clearer instructions for appliances, and more entertainment options.

The property is consistently described as clean and well-maintained, with no negative comments on cleanliness, indicating high standards are met.

The location is appreciated for its easy drive to beaches and local towns, though some guests noted the proximity to a busy road and the need for a car to access pubs.

The property is generally found to be comfortable, with a particularly comfortable bed and lounge furniture. However, the lack of a dining table and some concerns about the breakfast bar's comfort slightly affect the score.

Facilities are good, with a large fridge/freezer and secure outdoor area for dogs. However, guests suggested improvements such as better instructions for appliances and additional kitchenware.

While guests mentioned a welcome pack, there is insufficient information to assess the consistency of thoughtfulness across all stays. It should be noted that such gifts, while appreciated, are not guaranteed.

This Annexxe is a little gem, the property is within an easy drive of both Bude and Widemouth, with lovely beaches. Very comfortable lounge furniture (although the sofa and armchair not the same as the photos on website). Very comfortable bed. Lovely enclosed garden which was very safe for our small dog. The huge american fridge/freezer is a bonus, as we like to cook at home due to rising restaurant prices and we were able to do a large grocery shop at Launceston ( which has plenty of supermarkets to choose from) If you do forget something the local shop is just a very short walk from the property. The welcome pack was excellent.I knew before booking that there was only a breakfast bar to sit at when eating, which was great for breakfast, a little uncomfortable when eating an evening meal (not a large breakfast bar) and its close proximity to the hob and oven did cause a worry as one person had to sit close to the hob and oven and obviously these remained quite hot for some time after turning off. The following would improve the property:1. Small dining room table and 2 chairs ( and there is now enough room since the lounge furniture has been reduced)2. Instructions for TV (it took us 2 days to work out how to get the normal channels)3. Instructions for washing machine as it is not obvious which button turns this on (We googled it)4. Instructions for small heater in hallway, we never got this to work during our stay. (we did not contact owner as we used the other heater in the lounge which was on wheels)I would love to return but not having a dining table puts me off (I am 75 years old and need my comfort).

Perfect size accommodation with good facilities, entertainment and a good secure area outside for our dog. The only area for improvement could be a blind for the front door as we felt a little exposed to the neighbouring properties when entering and exiting the bathroom before and after showering.

We found the accommodation very good. The only thing I told the owner was that he needed to put a tea pot in the property and I couldn't find the hair dryer.Other than that it was a very enjoyable trip and would go back again.
