Glebe Farm Cottage in Beaworthy, Devon, is praised for its cosy cleanliness and beautiful rural setting, ideal for a peaceful retreat. Guests appreciate the property's suitability for dogs, with a paddock available for them to run. The cottage's quaint charm and welcoming atmosphere are noted, although some guests suggest a need for decluttering the kitchen and providing additional amenities for convenience.
The cottage is consistently described as clean and cosy. However, one review mentioned the presence of dead flies on arrival, suggesting a possible oversight in cleaning before check-in.
The location is repeatedly appreciated for its quietness and lovely rural surroundings, making it an ideal spot for a tranquil holiday.
Guests find the beds comfortable and the setting relaxing. However, the lack of a downstairs toilet and the property being described as small and old-fashioned indicate some room for improvement in comfort.
The facilities are adequate, with a paddock for dogs and a clean environment. Criticisms include a cluttered kitchen, lack of storage space for guests' food, absence of pegs for the washing machine, and no mention of a hoover or outdoor drying options for clothes, which affects the score.
