This delightful dog-friendly lodge is set in beautiful countryside, 4 miles from the market town of Hatherleigh. The lodge’s close proximity to the Devon/Cornwall border means it is perfect for exploring the fringes of both counties, whether inland or on the coast. Enjoying open-plan living areas, a private decked area and easy access to a range of leisure facilities, including a children’s play area, there is something for all ages here.
The lodge has a homely feel, its contemporary furnishings and welcoming ambience throughout making for a truly sociable environment. The open-plan lounge/kitchen/diner offers cosy corners and a fresh, airy feel thanks to skylights above the kitchen at one end and large patio doors at the other. The lodge’s two stylishly-appointed bedrooms - a king-size bedroom and a twin bedroom - sit directly off the main living area, as does a family shower room. Outside, the decked area, accessible via patio doors in the lounge, is a place to enjoy a morning coffee, alfresco brunch or evening cocktail in peaceful surroundings. It’s only a short hop from here to the complex’s laundry facilities, a scenic fishing lake with BBQ facilities, and children’s play area. A seasonal indoor swimming pool also sits nearby, as do a cycle track and footpath which lead to the local village.
