The charming village of Motcombe is well served with amenities including a shop and pub or you can head 2 miles south to the small market town of Shaftesbury. Set high upon a hill, you will find breath-taking views across the Blackmore Vale. The vibrant town centre has a good range of shops, pubs and cafes, ideal for a pit stop after a good walk. For those wishing to explore the Saxon roots of the area, the town museum and abbey ruins and Gold Hill are well worth a visit. Within 25 miles of Motcombe are Longleat (18 mls) where you can enjoy the annual Festival of Light display , Stourhead, Haynes Motor Museum, the cathedral cities of Salisbury and Bath and the Kennet and Avon canal, all great choices for a day out. Some of the beautiful Dorset beaches are just over 30 miles away.

The private entrance door leads into a welcoming hallway where you will find a useful separate WC, utility cupboard with washing machine and access to the open plan living space. The sociable lounge/kitchen/diner is equipped with a contemporary kitchen set into one corner, a dining area just opposite and comfortable seating beside the wood burner. Doors lead to a cosy snug with smart TV. From the hallway a staircase rises to the first floor where you will find the two King size bedrooms, one with one of which has a stylish en-suite shower room with WC and both with Smart TVs. A contemporary bathroom with shower over bath and WC completes the accommodation.

Bi-fold doors lead from the lounge area into a fully enclosed garden with patio, furniture, BBQ and lovely views of the surrounding pastureland and stunning views of Kingsettle Wood, a Woodland Trust wood. There is parking at the front for 2 cars.
