Within a few minutes’ drive are a country pub, a heated indoor swimming pool with sauna, golf, and the Saxon hilltop town of Shaftesbury with its famous Gold Hill, abbey ruins, shopping and cafes. Within driving distance are Dorset’s Jurassic Coast, Corfe Castle, Stonehenge, Longleat, Stourhead and numerous other places of interest.

Wonderful little cottage in a peaceful location, only downside is access to and from road. Flowers on table on arrival, but nicer than them were the te, coffee , milk and biscuits, so didn’t need to unpack before having a drink. This was our second visit and we’re already planning third

Comfortable and cosy accomodation. Log fire a nice touch. Quiet, peacful location just as we wanted. Good location to visit Wiltshire Dorset and Somerset. Excellent for viewing the night sky if the weather permits.

A friendly welcome helped us to settle in quickly. Tea, coffee milk and flowers greeted us after our journey to start us relaxing into our holiday. Lots of local information was given to us by the owner to assist us finding our way around. A brilliant accommodation for anyone who enjoys looking at the stars, we will definitely return to this property.
