It is a short walk to the local village store and a traditional 16th century thatched pub which serves locally sourced food and regularly changes its local real ales. This luxurious cottage is a beautiful home with exposed beams throughout the downstairs and there is a large modern kitchen/dining room which features a beautiful island and is the perfect place to have dinner together. There is a comfortable living room with a wood burner for your cosy evenings in, and a separate living area if want to watch something different or need a space to work in. There is a pretty garden and patio area which wraps around the cottage and provides plenty of space for outdoor games and enjoying the weather.
West Lulworth is known as the gateway to the Jurassic Coast and Durdle Dreams is a short walk to the stunning Lulworth Cove, a sheltered, horseshoe shaped natural harbour. Historically, the cove was notorious as a popular landing point for smugglers looking to land their illicit booty. Today a fleet of fishing trawlers are based in the cove as well as pleasure boats offering scenic day voyages along the coast, whilst the sheltered position makes the cove particularly popular with beach goers looking to sunbathe and swim. From here you can take the coastal path to Durdle Door to see the natural limestone archway, which is one of Dorsets most photographed and iconic landmarks. There are many attractions a short drive away including Monkey World, The Tank Museum, The Swanage Steam Railway which goes between the 100 year old castle at Corfe Castle and the seaside town of Swanage, Durlston Country Park and the market town of Wareham. Beach ½ mile. Shop 180 yards, pub and restaurant 350 yards.

Lovely cottage in a great location. Games room is freezing in the winter but it didn’t put off the hardier members of our group. Would definitely recommend.

An absolutely beautiful property. Well equipped and clean. It was great for our mixed age group family break with 2 dogs. The welcome hamper was very welcome.Its in a really good location for lovely walks. We parked 2 quite long cars on the drive and although it was a bit of a challenge getting off the drive the first time, we quickly got the hang of it. We would highly recommend the cottage.

Beautiful property, was a very comfortable stay here. Property was very clean and well equipped. The hamper was a very nice surprise and much appreciated with lovely local products. Good size and layout for a family with children and teenagers as they could use the games room and snug while the adults relaxed in the main lounge. Everyone was happy.Would suggest a small heater in the games room for winter bookings, we took our own based on previous reviews and it would have been chilly without it. Recommend the nearby pub also. Parking is tight but manageable, we had 3 large vehicles and managed fine to use the driveway space. Would stay again without hesitation. Thank you for a lovely stay.
