This property is all on ground floor level, apart from one of the bedrooms which has a small step up to it. Overlooking the generous rear patio area and the attached 6 acre paddock with rising fields ahead is the kitchen; leading to an inviting south facing conservatory with views to the large, lawned front garden and the rolling hills beyond is the lounge/diner. Enjoy a refreshing drink whilst gazing at the green hills of Dorset.
Surrounded by the glorious Dorset countryside, it is perfect for ramblers and walkers alike. Forming part of the famous Jurassic coast, the closest beach is only a leisurely drive of approx. 5 miles away. Locally acclaimed, and only 2 miles away, is The Shave Cross pub. With its interesting mix of high street and old curiosity shops and weekly market Bridport is just a short drive away and is well worth a visit. Grazeland Cottage is ideally situated for reaching Dorset's tourist attractions, alternatively it provides a peaceful retreat if you would rather simply enjoy admiring the peace and quiet of the countryside from the comfort of your arm chair. This property is the perfect romantic retreat while offering opportunities to discover the rolling hills of the countryside.
Guests can exercise their pet in the small enclosed yard and are welcome to use the rest of the gardens and field where the owners' dog, cats and chickens roam freely.

A superb base for exploring wonderful West Dorset.

Very nice welcome pack. Bottle of wine,milk,tea coffee and cake. He owner Steve even supplied us with home made sausages eggs and bacon. Also nice piece of cheese. Would highly recommend.

But still only a few minutes from shops and restaurants. Just the place to either get out and explore or hide away and recharge the batteries.

We like everything about the cottage - very comfortable, well equipped and impeccably clean, plus very friendly hosts - breakfast supplies were very much appreciated. Look forward to a further visit, hopefully next year.
