Set in a fantastic location for exploring the wonderful Jurassic Coast World Heritage Site, escape with family, friends and dogs for a fun-filled holiday. Sleeping eight guests across four bedrooms, one of which is housed in a separate lodge, enjoy spending sociable times together after beach days at nearby Eype (3 miles). On arrival, tuck into goodies from the thoughtful welcome pack before jumping into the hot tub for a relaxing night filled with bubbles.
Make yourselves at home at the end of the private lane and head straight for the lounge for a sumptuous unwind. Decorated in delightfully fresh tones, with floods of natural light, this space is perfect for relaxing in. Fire up the wood burner and sink into the large corner sofa to admire the views through the bay window. When it’s time to rustle up treats, the light, stylish kitchen has all you need to cook up a storm or head outside and get the BBQ sizzling for an al fresco night of sundowners. Call young guests out of the snug/games room and head outside for a feast and a soak in the hot tub, whilst they descend from the decking to the garden to bounce the night away on the trampoline under the stars. If you’re calling the lodge home, enjoy one last tipple on your raised decking before settling down for the night, or head back to the house and upstairs to one of three charming bedrooms for a peaceful sleep. There is ample off-road parking.
Give the dog a bone, pack up a picnic and travel 3 miles south to the beach at Eype. Sitting beneath the National Trust’s Golden Cap, this beach welcomes dogs all year round so you can have a ball and frolic in the sand together. Treat yourselves to a night off from the kitchen or pick up some delicious produce from the twice-weekly markets at Bridport (3 miles). Its eclectic arts scene, variety of shops and a handful of delicious eateries make this bustling town worth a trip. Just 4 miles from your door, visit Seatown for a day of fossil hunting.
