Enjoying a superb location within the Dorset AONB, just moments away from the beach and local amenities, Lea Cottage is a fantastic family-friendly dwelling for couples or a family of four, plus their canine companion. The property benefits from two off-road parking spaces in a nearby car park, and a lovely rear, enclosed garden where you can enjoy meals alfresco. Step into the open-plan living space where you will find a well-equipped kitchen for rustling up your best dishes, ready to savour at the dining table for four over a bottle of wine, before retiring to the plush seating to relax in front of the woodburning stove as your favourite show plays out on the Smart TV.
Head upstairs, where you can freshen up with your choice of bath or shower in the well-appointed bathroom, before retreating to one two tastefully-decorated bedrooms, a king-size and a bunk, to catch up on some much-needed rest. Along with a highly sought-after antiques and collectibles market, Bridport provides all the high-street conveniences you could possibly need. Although it is the highest point in Dorset, Golden Cap is only 4 miles from Eype and is located on the South West Coast Path. Easy private parking nearby, Leas secluded garden at the rear and the cottageâs proximity to Eypes beach, lovely walks and with Bridports close by facilities, make Lea cottage an ideal stay for all seasons.

The heating was not easy to control and although the cottage felt aired and the weather was thankfully mild we did use the log burner each night which added greatly to the cost of the holiday. The heater in the main bedroom did not work. The seating in the living area was very uncomfortable and probably needs updating.The garden was a little overgrown. It was disappointing that no facilities for recycling were provided in the cottage so we used the local recycling centre for plastic and glass. Whilst we did not use the starter pack for the log burner (having provided our own) it was disappointing to see instructions requiring visitors to replace this if used.

Our only gripe really was the very uncomfortable bed, it really could do with an upgrade as could the vacuum which struggled to pick anything up. Other than those items the cottage was quaint and had all amenities on hand.
