The Barn was in a lovely location away from it all. It was warm, comfortable and clean. The beds were particularly wonderful and views out of the window really lovely. We managed to cook simple dinners in the small kitchen which was well equipped. The owners left us a lovely bottle of wine, some cookies and fresh milk which was really kind. However, the steep drive down to the property needs to be resurfaced at the top end. Also, although the garden provided an outside space for the dogs, we still needed to drive somewhere for a proper walk. However spectacular walks are within a short distance so it wasn't too much of a problem. On the whole, a lovely relaxing break, thank you.
