The property is ideal for exploring local towns and beaches, and is dog-friendly with secure outdoor space. Some guests noted the access lane is steep and rough, and a few mentioned areas needing minor maintenance or updating. Overall, visitors enjoyed restful stays and would consider returning, appreciating the cottage’s warmth and the friendly, helpful owners.

Most guests found the cottage clean and well-presented, with fresh linens and tidy interiors. However, a few reviews mentioned cobwebs, dust, and some areas needing a deeper clean or attention to detail, such as blocked shower heads and hair behind doors.

The location is highly praised for its proximity to the Jurassic Coast, local towns, and beautiful countryside views. The peaceful setting is a highlight, though several guests noted the steep, rough access lane as a challenge.

Guests frequently commented on the comfortable beds and cosy atmosphere. The cottage is spacious and well-suited for families and dog owners. Some minor issues were noted, such as sloping ceilings for tall guests and occasional heat in summer.

The cottage is well-equipped with kitchenware, lighting, and dog-friendly features. Some guests mentioned maintenance issues like worn decor, tricky windows, and the need for garden upkeep. Facilities such as EV charging and enclosed outdoor areas were appreciated.

We had a lovely stay at the stables, even though it was the hottest week, would have been nice to have a fan and also a curtain at the door as the sun coming through made it like a green house, good location, loved seeing the horses in the field.

Lovely cottage, well equipped, clean & comfortable. A rarity to cherish - dog escape-proof garden, our little Houdini terrier couldn’t get out, so we could relax! Sun spot to sit & enjoy the view, with friendly horses in adjoining field. Really pleased to have access to EV charging & the A35 which leads to all local destinations. Owners were on site, helpful but not intrusive. Great value for money.
